Now a dedicated blog to this mediocre (at best) team? Why are the Canucks the talk of the NHL? They have some young guys who are fun to watch but the team sucks. What’s the story?

Quinn Hughes is a dwarf. Always fun to play against him 😂

Hughes needs a bit more development. While he is an exciting player with a vast upside, he completely lacks positional acuity while demonstrating inconsistency in reading when to stop v glide, which direction to turn and defensive placement. He is an exceptional talent and with appropriate effort and direction, he should quickly be able to quell these shortcomings.

Quinn would have been better served to spend the season in the minors learning the intricacies of playing professional hockey. The pond hockey style he utilized in college is stimulating to watch, both good and bad. Unfortunately, his play is reminiscent of Subban's style. I strongly suggest the Canucks and Quinn need to correct this before the rest of his career matches PK's. Othereise he will always be a dwarf who is fun to play against.

Haha. Ek has been saying MAF is on the trade block since the draft. But has yet to explain why Vegas would do this. So you build a Cup contender with Lehner with some low-grade back-up...Malcolm Subban? Mike Smith? Wasn't Jimmy Howard looking for work? So now you are 1 injury away from destroying your season. With Lehner/MAF they can both stay fresh and the team can still compete for a Cup if one of them gets hurt. But Ek has never explained the rationale. Although if it's an E4 then numerous sources are reporting it...

You have to have more than two guys on The covid list to get games postponed. At the moment the Sabres will be playing tomorrow night with 7 Rochester players filling the first third and fourth defenseman slots. You complaining about not having Jordie Benn pretty sad.
